Facebook and its dream projects to broadcast and provide the Internet for everyone

In 2004, Mark Zuckerberg launched a mission to provide a platform for easy communication between users across the globe, making it possible to sweep across Facebook and its various applications with a user segment of up to 3.5 billion users between Social Network, MSN Instant Messaging, Wattasab, and finally Entgram.

But it seems that Zuckerberg's speech was not clear enough at the time. He did not intend to provide a platform to facilitate communication only, but seemed to aim to provide anything to help connect to the Web, and this was very apparent after the company's last developers' On the ground to provide the Internet and broadcast it to everyone.
The beginning of Facebook's efforts in this field is directed at large cities, regardless of their geographical location in the world. It is true that the Internet is present at high speeds, but it suffers from problems such as lack of communication or lack of coverage in many places.

To overcome this problem, companies are installing a new communications package, which means excessive use of infrastructure and fiber optics. This is why Facebook is introducing Terragraph, which aims to eliminate network outages by relying on wireless networks, thereby enhancing coverage and ensuring connectivity in all places .

Apart from the big cities, Facebook has another project for remote and rural areas that do not have access to the Internet. Instead of extending the connections and fiber optics, it decided to rely on solar powered drones to communicate from the sky through its flight within the stratosphere within the atmosphere, Thus ensuring signal access to farther areas.

The project is named Aquila. In a pilot model, the company achieved its initial goal, but the plane crashed and crashed, so the company still needs to work to reach the final model capable of weathering different conditions.

The latest project of the Blue Network is for emergencies and disasters that lead to the interruption of the Internet from certain regions, and is named Tether-Tena. The project is based on a small helicopter connected to a fiber optic cable, and another to provide electricity, thus flying the plane to broadcast the Internet for long periods to help survivors and affected people to communicate with the teams and among them as well.

Tether-Tina is the latest project in Facebook, so the first model is still not 100% ready at the moment as different factors such as strong winds or lightning could cause the plane to fall instantly. That's why engineers are taking all these cases into consideration. In the hope of providing a useful experience for all, especially that this project must work efficiently in times of emergency and there is no room for error in it. The main objective of the project is to fly for days without landing.
