Google provides Gmail with artificial intelligence to detect phishing and fraud attacks
With increasing cyber-to-day threats, especially those related to phishing and fraud attacks, Google announced it will increase security on its postal services by offering many new features while improving existing features.
"Machine learning" seems to have become Google's preferred method of solving problems, so it's no surprise that early detection of phishing and fraudulent messages relies heavily on automated learning techniques.
The company said that machine learning used in Gmail has helped detect more than 99% of spam, and with this new protection, users can be reduced to threats by rejecting hundreds of millions of additional messages with confidence every day.
According to Google's announcement, the new version of Gmail adds a new security feature that is expected to protect companies from phishing attacks and identity theft and will warn employees and users when responding to emails sent from outside their domain or contact list.
This feature will be turned on by default, which can be turned off by the control panel in Advanced Gmail Settings.
