Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 Android Tablet Launched with Harman Kardon Audio
From the last couple of years, the market share of the tablets has never been on rise to make the manufacturers focus on offering innovative features. More than the premium tablets, the low-cost tablets are now dominating the market, at least in the developing nations. However, there are a few manufacturers who are still bringing few new tablets every now and then. Huawei launches the Android-powered tablets under the MediaPad series and recently, the company also launched the Windows-powered 2-in-1 tablets under the Matebook series. Just after announcing the new MediaPad M3 Lite 10.0, the company came up with a slightly smaller MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 tablet.
As the name suggests, the MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 comes with an 8-inch display offering Full HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) resolution. It is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. The tablet will be available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB storage options. Since the tablets are now mostly used for media consumption, there is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. The MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 can accept MicroSD cards up to 128GB capacity. The tablets run on the latest EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Apart from the little customizations to the mobile UI, there are no major changes made to improve the productivity of the tablet.
As seen on the MediaPad M3 Lite 10.0, the new MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 also comes with 8MP cameras on the front and back. On the right edge of this metal build tablet is the volume rocker and the power button. Since the power button comes with a textured finish, the user can actually distinguish without looking those buttons. Below the huge 8-inch display is the physical home button with an integrated fingerprint sensor. Huawei has added two Harman Kardon certified speakers on the top and bottom of the tablet. The bigger MediaPad M3 Lite 10.0 tablet has four Harman Kardon speakers. On the connectivity front, the MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 tablet comes in Wi-Fi only and 4G + Wi-Fi options.
It is backed by a 4,800mAh non-removable battery that might give decent battery life. The tablet can be charged with the MicroUSB 2.0 port placed on the bottom edge. It measures 213.3 x 123.3 x 7.5 mm and weighs 310 grams. The tablet will be available in Gold and Silver color options. As of now, there is no information about the pricing or the availability of the Huawei MediaPad M3 lite 8.0. Having said that, we would like to know your thoughts on this.
