Microsoft has removed automatic backup of files from Windows 10
Some users of Windows 10 beta versions have reported that File History, which allowed users to take a backup copy of files, completely disappeared in the latest version.
This feature allows you to schedule backups of some files to be stored on external storage devices. Once external memory is connected, the system can automatically transfer and store backups to ensure that they are not lost.
One user said that File History had disappeared in the developers' beta, which was accidentally dropped by Microsoft engineers a few days ago.
Microsoft is expected to unveil an alternative file history successor but with cloud storage support, the system will automatically store files on the Internet for later access from any device without problems. However, this feature will only reach a large extent with the launch of the next update in September.
