Facebook shows a new game tab

Facebook faces a major challenge from gaming platforms such as Twitch or platforms that have a video niche and become more interested in games such as YouTube, and to try to prove their place in this market, a game tab has been placed in the main navigation bar. Increase the attention of users who spend more time on Facebook than to use it instead of resorting to competitors.

In the main navigation bar at the top of Facebook's official application, there is a game icon designed to help users easily access and follow up on games, related publications, and groups interested in games, as well as explore new content within their areas of interest.

By clicking on the new tab, a stream of publications will appear showing instant games played by the user with his friends, videos to watch containing games broadcast by people with great interest and a huge follow-up base, updates from game groups.

Facebook and YouTube have launched a special section last year and the application of Android has a link to it Fb.gg to collect video games in one place, the new tab is an expansion of this section and display where it appears for a larger segment Of users.

Facebook will offer its experience and ability to propose accounts to enable players to attract new followers by displaying them in the proposed accounts to continue based on the interests of users and accounts they have previously followed.

To encourage more players to use Facebook to broadcast video from their games, they cut their share of profits to between 5-30% according to virtual purchases, while Twitch deducts half of the profit and YouTube 30% is fixed regardless of the value of the followers' purchases.

Today, more than 700 million people live on Facebook playing games, watching video content for games or joining and interacting with gaming groups. This large segment of users needs better organization to provide the best service to ensure they stay within the Facebook application.
