Discover the diversion of information of more than 7 million Adobe Creative Cloud users

Security researchers have leaked Adobe's account information to nearly 7.5 million users of Adobe Creative Cloud services, where the leaked data was left available to anyone accessible from the browser.

The leaked data included e-mail for those users and other account information with disclosure of the software or product the user was working on.

The leaks did not say how they found the information, but they confirmed that the information they reached includes e-mail and the date of account creation and classification of user subscription and type and whether or not Adobe employees.

In addition to knowing the user's membership number, the last time he logged in to the service, the current country in which he lives and the current payment status.

It is somewhat reassuring that the passwords for the leaked accounts as well as the payment information were hidden, but this does not deny that the leaked information is sufficient to carry out phishing operations that pose a serious threat to those users, especially as the e-mail address, as well as the phone number, is among the leaked data.

According to the source, researchers alerted Adobe to the leak on October 19; the company secured the database on the same day.

But the question remains how long the database remained publicly available before the researchers discovered the leak and the company ended it, and whether anyone had access to that information before. At the same time, the divers discovered that it did not exceed a week.
